Everything You Need to Extend Your Videos
Continue any clip from the exact moment you choose, then keep chaining extensions to build a longer story — all in one place.
Extend Any Clip Without Losing the Look.
Upload a video and let AI continue it from the exact moment you choose. Motion, lighting, style, and characters carry over from your footage, so the new seconds read as part of the original shot instead of a separate clip.
Extend a video
Choose Exactly Where It Continues.
Drag the timeline handles to pick the 2–15 second section the extension should continue from, then set how many seconds of new footage to generate. Controlling the starting point means fewer wasted generations.
Trim a clip
Keep Extending. Tell a Longer Story.
Every result becomes the starting point for the next extension, so you can keep building clip after clip. Chain scenes together to grow a short upload into a complete sequence — without re-uploading or starting over.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is AI Video Extender?
AI Video Extender continues a video you already have instead of generating a new one from scratch. Upload a clip, trim the section you want the extension to continue from, describe what happens next, and the AI generates new footage that carries on from that point.
What videos can I upload?
Drag and drop an MP4 or MOV file up to 50MB, or paste a video URL. The clip needs to be at least 2 seconds long, and you can select up to 15 seconds as the section the extension continues from.
How many seconds can I add at a time?
Each extension generates between 4 and 15 seconds of new footage. Because you can run another extension on the result, the total length of your video is not limited to a single generation.
Will the new footage match my original video?
Your trimmed section is passed to the model as a reference, so the extension follows the motion, camera direction, lighting, and subjects already in your clip. A short, specific prompt describing what happens next gives the most consistent results.
Which model generates the extension?
Extensions are generated with Seedance 2.0 Mini using reference-video extension, billed at 2.4 credits per second across the combined length of your trimmed section and the new footage.
